American actress Meagan Good has revealed that appearing in 50 Cent's 2003 music video 21 Questions helped transform her acting career.
Speaking on The Crew Has It podcast, Good explained that she deliberately accepted the role to break away from being typecast as a teenager.
Despite being around 19 at the time, she was still being offered roles portraying girls as young as 14 and 15.
Good says the music video helped audiences recognise her as a young adult, although her manager initially opposed the decision.
She acknowledged that while the appearance changed public perception, it also led to a different kind of typecasting in Hollywood.
