Jamaican producer Skatta Burrell is celebrating another major international success, with his iconic Coolie Dance Riddim forming the foundation of the new global number-one hit, BbY WOW.
The track, by Karol G, Judeline and rusowsky, has climbed to number one on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excluding U.S. charts.
According to Billboard figures, BbY WOW generated 42.3 million streams worldwide between August 28 and September 3, including more than 30 million streams outside the United States.
The song has also exploded on TikTok, with its official audio reportedly used in more than one million videos.
The achievement gives new life to Burrell's Coolie Dance Riddim, more than two decades after the Jamaican production became an international Dancehall favourite.
