King Bubba has been part of the Slam 101 family since the station's inception, growing alongside it as one of Barbados' recognizable DJ and artist talents. He started DJing at just 14 years old, a spark that grew into a career spanning both the decks and the studio. He transitioned into recording with "Who Drinking Rum," followed by hit tracks like "Mashup," "Whole Night," "Tequila," and "Monster Winer." In 2015, he placed second in both the Party Monarch and Roadmarch competitions with "Mashup - When ah Touchdown." Known for his work on riddims like Carbon Copy and Popso, King Bubba has collaborated with the likes of the Red Boys, DJ Spider, and Kerwin DuBois — a true Slam 101 original with deep roots in the station's history.
