Grammy Award-winning singer Mary J. Blige has entered into a major music rights agreement, selling a portion of her publishing and recording catalogue to Primary Wave Music.
The partnership, announced on Monday, covers several of her biggest hits, including Family Affair, My Life, Be Without You and Mary Jane (All Night Long).
Although the financial terms have not been disclosed, the agreement will provide additional opportunities for marketing, branding and licensing her music.
The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul joins a roster of legendary artistes associated with Primary Wave, including Bob Marley, Whitney Houston and Luther Vandross.
Meanwhile, Blige is continuing her Las Vegas residency, My Life, My Story, which has been extended through February 2027.
