Several Jamaican music figures are set to be honoured at the 2026 Excellence in Music Ceremony in Kingston next Tuesday.

Among those being recognised are Richie Stephens, the late Gregory Isaacs, Glen Washington, Dalton Browne, Dean Fraser, Clevie and Agent Sasco. Dancehall artiste Aidonia will also receive a special plaque.

The event, formerly known as the Grammy Certificate Ceremony, will recognise musicians and other contributors associated with Grammy-winning and Grammy-nominated projects.

Organisers say the name was changed as the programme expands beyond its original Grammy-focused recognition. This will be the sixth staging of the ceremony in Jamaica.
