BOA Eyes Age Limits for Directors in By-Law Overhaul

September 09, 2026

The Barbados Olympic Association is considering major changes to its governance structure, including the introduction of age limits for directors.

The proposed amendments to the association's by-laws are among the key items to be considered at its Annual General Meeting at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.

BOA President Sandra Osborne says the changes are part of efforts to update the organisation's by-laws and bring them in line with current best practices. The proposals will require approval from the association's general membership.
