Strong ticket sales are being reported for the Caribbean Premier League matches at Kensington Oval, as Barbados prepares to host several games, including the playoffs and final.

CPL Chief Marketing Officer Christine Charles says excitement is building, with the island also hosting the Women's Caribbean Premier League. Organisers expect the tournaments to provide an economic boost through increased visitor arrivals, hotel stays and employment opportunities.

The CPL final is scheduled for September 20, while the Live and Louder mega concert takes place one day earlier at the Botanical Gardens, featuring Mavado, Estelle, Mr. Vegas, Christopher Martin and other artistes.
